For years, therapists and educators at the Britain IDC and ELC have provided world-class care. Soon, these programs will have a world-class home in the new B.E. Smith Family Center.

This year proceeds from the Tiny Tim Holiday Fantasy will support an exciting new project… the B.E. Smith Family Center. This state-of-the-art facility will be the new home of the Lee Ann Britain Infant Development Centerand Early Learning Center at SMMC. Currently, both these programs are located in buildings which are the oldest on the AdventHealth Shawnee Mission campus dating back to the late 1940’s.

Doug and Nan Smith, our 2016 Tiny Tim Holiday Fantasy Honorary Chairs, made an extraordinary lead gift to propel this project forward. Their vision will shape the lives of thousands of children, giving hope to those with special needs and superb early education for children.

Visit the B.E. Smith Family Center web site for more information about this project.

Kids with special needs have superpowers because they have to overcome so much. We just need to help them find that power.
